HOW TO SHARE THE GOSPEL
There is no one way to share the Gospel. You can use numerous passages when you share
the Gospel. Once you have memorized a dozen or more passages dealing with the Gospel you
will find that you will use different ones depending on the need of the person and the
leading of the HOLY SPIRIT. Below are different sets of passages you can use to
share the Gospel. Pick one, memorize the verses and practice sharing them with a brother
who has some experience in sharing the Gospel.

Recite the verses one at a time and briefly explain them. Then ask the person if he
understands the verse and agrees with it. If he does go on to the next verse.
If he does not ask him what he doesn't understand or agree with. If the person
starts to argue ask him to simply listen to you explain the entire Gospel and then discuss
it with him. Do NOT let him get you off track by asking questions that have nothing
to do with the Gospel. Once you have shared the Gospel ask him if he would like to
trust Jesus Christ to save him. If he says he does tell him to simply ask Jesus to
save him in his own way. Do not have him recite a prayer that you tell him to pray.
Once he asks Jesus to save him congratulate him and welcome him into the family of YAHWEH. Make sure you get his phone number, address and place of employment. Give him your phone number and the phone number and address of the church you attend. Invite him to the next service and pick him up. It is your duty to disciple him or make sure a more mature brother in your church disciples him. Do not walk away without getting follow-up information. We are commanded to make disciples (Matt. 28.19,20) -- not make converts and abandon them.
If he does not desire to ask Jesus to save him continue to speak with him if he
wants to. Try to answer his questions or objections, but make sure you ask him why he does
not want to be saved. Speak with him as long as the HOLY SPIRIT leads you to, but break it
off if he just wants to argue or criticize Christianity, the Father, Son, HOLY SPIRIT,
specific pastors, etc. Before you leave him try to get some follow-up information --
phone number, address, place of employment -- and also invite him to church. Do not
forget to give him your phone number and the phone number and address of your church.
If he doesn't want it say good-bye and walk away praying that the Lord convict him
of his need to be saved. Once you conclude sharing the Gospel write down his name
and his response in a witnessing journal. You can then pray for the people you have
shared the Gospel with and you can also have the church pray for them.
